American Journal September 14, 2013 Exceptionalism

These are the thoughts of likeminded men:

“It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation.” Russian Dictator Vladimir Putin

“I believe in American exceptionalism, just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism.” – President of the United States of America Barack Obama

One of them is a Communist KGB officer who has consolidated power in his mother Russia. He now sells himself as a defender of freedom, of Christianity, and as an opponent to sexual immorality. This is odd, seeing as how the denial of freedom, denial of God and sanctioning of sexual immorality formed the basis of his life in the land he leads and his upbringing in Communism. The other is the President of the freest most prosperous nation God ever allowed to survive. Who by his words and actions demonstrates everyday a disdain for our Constitutional Republic, our guaranteed freedoms, individual liberty, and Christianity and demonstrates not so covert feelings that it is time for America and Americans to be taken down a notch. Spouting Communist principles at every turn intending to redistribute to the poor what was stolen from them by the wealthy and to the world what was stolen from it by the United States of America. Not surprising since every influential person in his life from childhood to present day was a Communist.

These too, are the thoughts of likeminded men:

“This Constitution is really, in its formation, a government of the people… No government before introduced among mankind ever contained so many checks and such restraints to prevent it from degenerating into any species of oppression… The balances arising from the distribution of the legislative, executive, and judicial powers are the best that have [ever] been instituted. … [The adoption of the Constitution] will demonstrate as visibly the finger of Providence as any possible event in the course of human affairs can ever designate it.” George Washington

“May you and your contemporaries… preserve inviolate [the] Constitution, which, cherished in all its chastity and purity, will prove in the end a blessing to all the nations of the earth.” Thomas Jefferson

“The happy union of these states is a wonder; their Constitution is a miracle; their example the hope of liberty throughout the world. Woe to the ambition that would mediate the destruction of either!” James Madison

Quoted from: A Miracle that Changed the World, The 5000 Year Leap.

American people are not exceptional. We are no more gifted than any other people residing on the face of this earth. If we are not exceptional people, what then has led us to be the most prosperous nation ever? Clearly, it is a concept that has escaped the Communist, or Progressive as they like to refer to themselves nowadays, mind.

The United States of America is the only nation in the history of humankind to place in its founding documents and Constitution individual liberty. Freedom. God-given that cannot be taken by man, or more exactly government. At the founding, we declared “a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence.” Because God-given freedom and individual liberty comprises the cornerstone of our foundation, America is the exception among nations. America is exceptional. Communism is not.

Individual liberty, guaranteed freedom and guaranteed rights accomplished many things. People are free to pursue life, liberty and happiness. They are not channeled to destinations determined by government or other men unless they go willingly. People are free to pursue wealth. The pursuit of wealth is what the Communists call greed. When free people pursue wealth in their own interests, the very nature of the act creates wealth for others. The Communist collective does not work and never will. Americans considered impoverished by American standards would be fabulously wealthy in some other less free parts of this world where finding the next meal is the goal of the day.

Maybe our failure is forgetting that an exceptional nation requires exceptional leaders. We must have leaders who cherish the foundation of our nation and who are willing to take their last breath defending our freedom and Constitution rather than spending every waking moment trying to destroy both and promote themselves as one who might lower the level of the oceans. From the Whitehouse and through the halls of the Capitol, Washington is critically short of exceptional leaders.

The American people deserve better. It is a leadership failure when the American people are lectured by a Communist dictator on American Exceptionalism. Leadership that is many levels below exceptional opens the door to such criticism.

How long will the American people stand by and watch the destruction of this great nation?

“A great revolution is never the fault of the people, but of the government.” – Goethe

  1. I hear You SGM. As long as Americans feel “entitled” and not the work ethic of EARNED as a few of Us that felt pride in saying the Pledge of Alliegience from our first day of school, prayed openly in public, volunteered to Serve an Nation that We loved, Fought Wars that may have been senseless but Believed in the Constitution, Bill of Rights and sacrificed for our core Values but never stopped believing. But were betrayed by those that never shared our personal values but desired power and would see the greatest nation on Earth destroyed to gain it.

Sad days for America. Damn it all!
