Why is Rosenstein leaving now?

I do not believe in coincidence.  Neither am I a conspiracy nut.  I read, observe, and catalog information on the cranial hard drive.  When I start to see patterns, it arouses my curiosity.  I’m told recognizing patterns is an indicator of obsessive-compulsive disorder.  I spent much of my life in the Army.  From the first day you learn there is order.  Always order.  Everything is kept a certain way and in its proper place.  People do what they’re supposed to do, when they’re supposed to, and to a prescribed standard.  After decades of such an existence, one might become slightly OCD.  Anything less than order and purpose is chaos.  When a pattern breaks, I notice.  When out of the blue a pattern develops, I notice.

Take President Trump.  He broke the pattern of one establishment globalist pre-selected Presidential candidate after another.  Hillary was the pre-selected one.  All the Republican possibilities were losers.  Trump is the outsider who defeated the world establishment, globalist, political world.  Against all odds, he won the Presidential election.  Heads exploded, news anchors choked back tears, and traditional politicians ran away from him like cock roaches when the light switch is flipped on.  They ran away because he’s the bull that ran in to the globalist china shop and immediately began breaking stuff.  He’s also a lifelong international businessman who dealt out of necessity with crooked politicians.  At the top of the list is probably New Yorkers like Chuck Schumer.  President Trump knows who the political contributions (legal bribes) went to in order to conduct business.  It could be they really don’t want his tax returns released.  He’s the biggest threat ever to the established political world.  On top of that, he’s been able to do what none them could or sincerely wanted to do.  He’s connected with the country’s backbone, it’s forgotten middle class.  He could probably topple that corrupt house of cards.  They know it.  That’s why he must go.  That’s why the Russian collusion hoax was concocted and a special counsel investigation started.  It’s a coup d’état.  Now if you take your news from CNN, MSNBC or the major networks you believe all of the collusion stories and negativity you hear 24 hours a day.  Not to worry, you will not be spared from their tyranny if they succeed.

Following the news, I’ve noticed another pattern.  I doubt I’m the only one.  Each time there is a major event or breaking news that that puts President Trump in a positive light and the Democrats in the dark, there is a leak or made up revelation from the Mueller coup d’état operation.  It always seems perfectly timed to change the media narrative.  Media lackeys are more than eager to run with anything negative and bury anything positive concerning the Trump administration.

Just as the border battle heats up and the President makes the Democrat leadership look bad there’s an announcement directly impacting Mueller and his operation that’s pulling attention away from the border crisis.  Assistant AG Rod Rosenstein is leaving the Department of Justice.  Rosenstein and Mueller have connections going way back.  They were primary actors in covering up the Uranium One scandal that gave the Russians 20 percent of our uranium reserve.  Mueller was the FBI director and US Attorney Rosenstein signed the order to seal the records.

Rosenstein had but one function during his short tenure.  Cover and run interference for Mueller and help to cover up the criminal activity at the top of the Department of Justice, by the FBI leadership, the Democratic National Committee, and the Hillary Clinton for Presidential Campaign.  Now in a few weeks he’s leaving.

If Rosenstein is leaving the DOJ it signals a couple of things.  Evidence is destroyed, cover up is complete, Democrats in the House can now effectively block further inquiry and can use the Mueller report to step off into endless investigations, and Mueller is ready to submit his report which will be illegally leaked to the press before the President and counsel have had the opportunity to review, respond and rebut.  Because it’s a hit job, a coup d’état.

Understand something you probably didn’t catch on the news.  The Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton Presidential campaign through Marc Elias, Clinton’s campaign lawyer, of Perkins Coie law firm, hired Fusion GPS who then hired British spy Christopher Steele who then put together a false dossier on Trump with information provided by Kremlin associated Russians.  Senator John McCain leaked it to the press.  This is now common knowledge easily found with minimum research.  This is the beginning and end of Russian Collusion, but it was never about that.  This is what started the Mueller investigation.  An investigation in search of anything that can harm the President.  If you’re okay with this, then good luck to you in the tyrannical state where we the people, including you, do not have anything to say about anything.  The state where anyone who gives up their life to buck the establishment and anyone who supports them will be destroyed.  This is an operation any communist dictator would be proud of.

Why is Rosenstein leaving?  The real reason? Mission complete.

Told you so. Another well timed leak.

Does Hank Drank?

Henry Calvin Johnson Jr. is the Representative for Georgia’s 4th Congressional district.  Hank is a Democrat, not to imply anything untoward about the members of the jackass party.  Now don’t get your politically correct drawers in a wad.  I didn’t select the political symbol for the Democrat party.  Just for the record, I would not have selected a pachyderm either.  Although I could call it a donkey even though my extensive research tells me that’s synonymous with an ass and a male ass is a jackass.  I’m shocked and appalled that female members have not raised an issue about the clearly sexist symbol representing their party.  Maybe Speaker Pelosi, who according to a source very close to Madam Speaker, “She’ll cut your head off and you won’t even know you’re bleeding.  That’s all you need to know about her.”, should address the horrifying situation.  Hold on to your head Hank and possibly your posterior too.

During my extensive research, I’ve learned Hank Johnson graduated from Clark Atlanta University and the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Texas Southern University.  He’s supposedly an educated man with a law degree.  The first time Representative Johnson came to my attention was during a hearing on stationing U.S. Marines and their families on the island of Guam.  The Congressman thought the addition of Marines might cause the island to “tip over and capsize.”  I watched this live and I’ve watched the videos again.  The next day he told CNN that it was just a joke.  No one laughed.  Not the representative and not the Admiral he was questioning.  If it was a joke it went over like a floatie in the punch bowl.  The Admiral does appear to be in pain like one trying to maintain his military bearing not allowing himself to break out into hysterical laughter.  A synonym for jackass is stupid person.  Representative Johnson represents well the political party with a jackass mascot.

On New Year’s Day, Representative Johnson gave a speech at the Friendship Baptist Church in Atlanta.  Interesting isn’t it that Democrats are always making political speeches at churches and no one at the ACLU cares?  We’ve all grown a little numb to our President being compared to Hitler, called a racist and anti-immigrant.  Well, Johnson wasn’t happy with stopping there.  He had to outdo the other members of his party.  He said the President and his supporters are taking the country back to “a time when white men and white privilege were unchallenged, and where minorities and women were in their place.”  He didn’t quit there.  No, Hank decided to join the Hillary deplorables and Joe Biden’s dregs of society by declaring, “Donald Trump Supporters are older, less educated, less prosperous, and they are dying early.  Their lifespans are decreasing, and many are dying from alcoholism, drug overdoses, liver disease or simply a broken heart caused by economic despair.”

Well Hank, was this another of your jokes?  Something taken out of context?  I think you meant every word.  I saw where you were treated for Hepatitis C for more than a decade.  Hepatitis C is a blood borne disease most often transmitted through sharing needles used for intravenous drug use.  Are you a junkie Hank?  It’s also transmitted through unprotected sex with multiple partners.  Is that you?  You know what else Hank?  Chronic alcohol abuse worsens Hepatitis C and makes it much more difficult to treat.  Do you drank Hank?  As I recall Congressman, you called Jewish settlers termites rather like Farrakhan.  Are you an anti-Semite?  Yourself a racist bigot?

People did not vote for Trump because they’re racists or stupid.  They voted for Trump because they are sick to death of people like you.  You do endless jaw jacking, are among the most privileged in our country and you do not accomplish a damn thing that benefits the people you are supposed to represent.  You don’t represent the people of Georgia’s 4th district.  You represent donors, lobbyists and take your marching orders from overseer Pelosi.  We the people are tired of Washington and everything it represents.  Watched the news lately Hank?  Look up Paris and you can see what it looks like when people have finally had enough of do-nothing politicians like you.

You denigrate the people who voted for Trump.  I’m much more concerned about the people who voted for you.  Take care of yourself Hank.  Be careful of those unstable islands.

No Speaker Pelosi, you do not get to define morality

According to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi securing our border with a physical barrier is immoral and does not represent who we are as a country.

Speaker Pelosi’s House just passed a bill that included foreign aid money destined for use to perform abortions overseas.  It also included money for the United Nations Population Fund supporting human rights abuses like China’s forced family-planning.

Human trafficking advocate:

Pelosi’s House does not support a physical barrier on our southern border that’s proven to curtail illegal immigration.  More importantly it would hinder significantly human trafficking across our southern border, (see Human Trafficking, Sex Tourism, and Child Exploitation on the Southern Border, 2011, not current but certainly provides an accurate picture of this horrendous atrocity).

Drug smuggler advocate:

It incumbers drug smuggling including deadly fentanyl which according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse was responsible for the sharp increase in 2017 of more than 72,000 US drug overdose deaths.  My state of West Virginia had the highest opioid related overdose death rate in the United States.  Most of those deaths are attributed to synthetic opioids and heroin.  Some are attributable to overprescribing opioids, but too many others are attributed to fentanyl laced heroin.  We have entire communities devastated by these drugs.  This is real terrorism we allow to cross our borders.

Criminal illegal immigrant advocate:

It will slow the infestation of illegal immigrant gang members. In a June 28, 2017 article, Breitbart reported on 5 Deadly Illegal Alien Criminal Gangs Thriving in U.S.A, “…the flood of unaccompanied minors since 2012 from primarily El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala has provided some of these gangs with a steady flow of members to bolster their ranks.”  People are dead and violent crimes are committed because of illegal immigration all of it 100% preventable.  A border barrier would go a long way toward prevention of the crimes against Americans (The truth about crime, illegal immigrants and sanctuary cities, The Hill, April 19, 2017 “As Americans, we should only care about three things: (1) are the immigrants in the U.S. illegally; (2) have they committed violent crimes predominantly against U.S. citizens; and (3) had these criminals not been in our country illegally, these crimes, the victimization of our citizens and the costs of their crimes borne by American taxpayers could have been completely avoided.”).

Terrorist advocate:

Terrorism is with us.  Our government’s most important and moral responsibility is the protection of American citizens.  From 2006 to 2015, 67,180 illegal immigrants were apprehended by Department of Homeland Security, including the Transportation Security Agency’s ten countries of interest and four official state sponsors of terrorism.  Not all of them were from the southern border, but a significant enough number were.  Certainly, enough to support better security at our border including a physical barrier. “We live in an age in which jihadists and other terrorist organizations have the United States at the top of their hit list,” Ira Mehlman, Federation for American Immigration Reform’s media director, tells me. “They understand what our vulnerabilities are, and they will not hesitate to exploit them. Our unprotected borders are just such a vulnerability. Our government has an obligation to take reasonable steps — infrastructure, technology, and manpower — to minimize these threats to our national security.” National Review, Deroy Murdock, January 31, 2018

Speaker Pelosi’s idea of morality includes enabling those desirous of taking the lives of unborn children even to the point of forcing American taxpayers who may hold this practice as absolutely abhorrent and immoral to pay for it.  She does not want to protect American victims of human trafficking, the drug cartels, criminal illegal immigrants, or potential deadly terrorist attacks.

Speaker Pelosi, neither you or the foul-mouthed members of “your” house get to define morality for me.  Please make sure the American people understand that it’s your morality or lack thereof of which you speak.  Not the morality of our country.

Speaker, I recommend a book for you.  I was written by Robert H. Bork, Slouching Towards Gomorrah: Modern Liberalism and American Decline.  I’m certain you remember the name.  In his Book, he quoted T. S. Eliot concerning modern liberalism, “It is a movement not so much defined by its end, as by its starting point; away from, rather than towards something definite.”  Bork added, “What [modern] liberalism has constantly moved away from are the constraints on personal liberty imposed by religion, morality, law, family, and community.”  Your morality, Madam Speaker, and that of your house is far removed from my concept of morality and I expect from that of a great many Americans.

In 2019 stop and smell the roses

I took some down time for the month of December.  It was a needed break from contemplating the news of the day.  I don’t know if I admire or pity the people who are able to daily absorb and hammer away at events especially when all news seems to be all politics all the time.  It’s difficult to completely ignore politics and the accompanying insanity woven into the fabric of everyday life.  I can’t speak for anyone, but I felt so wrapped up in the nonsense generated by politicians, news media, and the ignorant as Mac Davis put it, I wasn’t stopping to smell the roses.  A period of withdrawal and blissful ignorance is healthy, I think.  Granddaughter time is therapeutic.

In the recent weeks, I’ve seen more of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport than desired.  In airports, I people watch as I think most do.  You see many and wonder what’s their story and where they’re headed.  From the middle-aged guy in the blue blazer and jeans uniform, the guy or gal in jogging suits and Moms with unhappy babies.  Even though the middle-aged guy has a little more paunch than his jeans and blazer allow for, I try not to judge except to wonder what he sees in the mirror.  I used to believe that the scourge of manhood was letting one’s ass hang out of his trousers, but now I accept that it’s skinny jeans.   I’m convinced both are some sort of mating ritual.  I recommend you avoid either if you possess bird legs or the possibility of skid marks in your boxers.  Sort of reminds me of an old friend of mine who was prone to look at a bird-legged male and ask if those were his legs or was he riding a chicken.  In my youth, we wore tight jeans pegged at the bottom and rolled up a couple of turns so as to expose our bare ankles and penny loafers or on the greaser side our pointy toed boots.  It’s been a more comfortable life wearing baggy pants and keeping my rear inside of them.  My travel advice is wearing baggy clothes for the long layovers and international flights and if humanly possible avoid Atlanta.

Our flight to Germany was uneventful.  It was too smooth leaving the feeling that something unpleasant might be waiting.  Nothing ever goes that smooth.  Passport control at Stuttgart Airport was interesting.  Being the only inbound international flight, there was only two agents.  One a smiling young man who was moving people quickly through and a rather stern looking lady not moving so fast.  If you have an image of hair in a tight bun and glasses at the end of her nose, you pegged it.  Suzie-Q and I were in the feeder line when she looked up over her glasses, signaled with the flip of a wrist and said, “Komme.”  So, we did.  Her accent was a little stronger than I’m accustomed.  Most German speakers I’ve known speak English quite well.  Eventually, she understood that we were traveling for pleasure and the date we were leaving, stamped the passports and hoped we’d enjoy our stay.  I felt like we needed to tiptoe away.  Our luggage came out quicker than usual and we headed for the nothing to declare customs gate that dumped us out into the terminal.  Getting into Germany was much easier than getting on to a plane bound for the US.

The interlude between flights was relaxing.  France’s yellow vests caused us to cancel the planned train ride to Paris.  It was 25 years since we left Germany.  We were not able to revisit all the places we wanted due to a stretch of bad weather and on top of that catching colds.  I certainly admire the German’s preservation of the historic look of their towns.  From appearances, it looked like I was there days rather than years ago.  Germans, like citizens of other EU countries are experiencing problems associated with open borders, migration and their political leadership.  It leads you to wonder if there is a tipping point for what I know to be a culturally strong and culturally protective people.  I did not dwell on issues I was trying hard to clear my mind of other than being hopeful the leadership of our country is taking lessons.

We enjoyed the German tradition of Christmas markets.  Large and small, there’s one in practically every town.  We did make it down to Triberg in the black forest.  It’s another place that appears unchanged since we last saw it.  It’s the place of cuckoo clocks, wood carvings and the hand-crafted Christmas ornaments Suzie-Q is so fond of.  The best of course was family time with a great son, a super-hostess and mom daughter-in-law and the most amazing granddaughters you could imagine.  It was a great Christmas.

The pleasantries waned as we arrived at the airport for departure.  All we needed to do was check bags.  To do that we had to clear an interrogator asking the typical questions.  Who packed the bags?  Did anyone give you anything to add to the bags?  Did you leave your bags alone?  Passing that step, we were mildly questioned again by the lady that actually checked the bags.  Then we passed through security and the body scanner.  Finally, we were headed to the international gate at the far end of the terminal.  We were met by another interrogator asking similar questions who directed Suzie-Q toward another search.  I followed her and we were both searched again and checked for explosive residue the apologetic agents telling us these were TSA requirements.  After that, passport control took only moments and we were at the gate.

The flight from Stuttgart to Atlanta was roughly 9 hours.  Our minds were already prepped for a 5-hour layover.  We were herded through immigration, baggage and again security before we were let loose to find a gate for our connecting flight.  Our flight was not posted on the departures board.  The lady at the information counter told us we were scheduled to leave from gate D34.  We caught the train over to the D concourse and found the gate.  We had time to kill so we got something to eat.  At about 6PM, my phone app was updated to show our departure gate as D27 with an 8:20 PM boarding time.  We went there.  In about a half hour, I got another alert telling us our gate was changed to D16.  We went there.  In about 15 minutes, I got another alert telling us to go to gate D32.  I was waiting for someone to leap out and yell, just kidding you’re on reality TV.  We went back to gate D32 and sat.  Probably 30 minutes before our scheduled boarding time, I was alerted that our flight was delayed with a new departure time of 6AM.  I didn’t even swear.  I grabbed Suzie-Q’s backpack and mine and we headed for the airline info desk that we’d passed by a couple of times.  A very loud young lady was telling everyone to scan their boarding passes at a kiosk.  We did and it spit out a hotel voucher and a new boarding pass for a 5:20AM boarding time.

We went back to the train and made our way to the end of the line and ground transportation and eventually found the hotel shuttle bus.  With the little ditty bags the airline passed out, we were able to shower, but sleep never came.  At 4:30AM we were back on the shuttle bus to the airport.  I think the driver may have been a former NASCAR driver.  We told him we had a 5:20AM boarding time and he pulled out like he was leaving a pitstop.  Lickity-split we were back at the airport and again going through security.  And again, Suzie-Q was singled out for a more thorough search.  By then, I was convinced that somewhere there was a 4-foot 10-inch grandmotherly looking terrorist on the loose.

When we got back to the departure gate, which was now D15, the new departure time was 7AM.  I went to get coffee, some bagels and a bottle of water for Suzie-Q.  7AM came and went and we sill sat.  Eventually a lady showed up, picked up the microphone and announced there was a flight weight restriction and she needed 9 passengers to agree to a later flight.  Before she could secure 9 volunteers, she made it up to $700.00 gift cards.  We finally landed back home a little past 8:30AM.  When our luggage came off the carousel, Suzie-Q’s was soaked through obviously having sat on the tarmac in Atlanta during the pouring rain.  Mine was a hardcase and dry inside.

We did not intend for our Atlanta experience to sour what was otherwise a great Christmas vacation.  We stopped for a big breakfast and headed home.  Later that night, having won the first jet lag skirmish and following a small glass of Merlot with a handful of melts in your mouth melatonin, I buried my head into the overpriced pillow that’s guaranteed to eliminate all of my sleeping problems, stretched out on my overpriced mattress making similar claims of restful sleep and contemplated how blessed we are.  What followed was 10 hours of dreamless sleep.

I don’t know what the new year brings for us, this blog or our country, but it is an interesting start.  Suzie-Q and I hope all of you had a blessed Christmas and you find and fulfill your calling in the new year.  Make sure to stop and smell the roses and carry clean undies in your backpack.
