By Charles Stokes – Warrior Poet

Are we subconsciously conditioned to respond a certain way?

The more convoluted, the more important.

If you make it easy- I’m likely to be insulted. It’s too simple.

Make it complicated, so I have to fight and struggle to understand the simple.

Let us use words hard to understand; maybe later we will boil it down.

Boil it into its essence.

Let us set our truth in his title- not in the substance of his speech.

Let us blindly follow the circle in its continual loop finding new start points.

Start points not long ago tried – Espouse the newness and challenge those –

Who dare say “Weren’t we here before?”
