We Stand Free

Tried and true

For the red, white, and blue

A soldier's job is never done

Here protecting everyone

I wish and pray every day

I could be home watching my children play

But here I stand

Clothed in dust and sand

I live for the letters from home

Reminding me I'm not alone

I stand for my country

And my country stands for me

Fighting this war together

Together we stand free
